  1. Anna, you need to come over here with an empty suitcase!Excellent purchases! And you know…”Choosy Mothers Choose JIF.”We did an unscientific taste-test at home, and JIF *did* win, over Peter Pan.

  2. Hi Anna – after seeing all your American goodies I just had to go on Ebay.uk where I noticed a site listed called Let’s Eat Direct, Milton Keynes, listed. Checked it out and they have all the items you bought.I just wondered if you bought from Let’s Eat or Ebay, as I would like to get some things but am a bit apprenhensive about EBay.Love reading all your posts.Livewire aka Jean

  4. Hi Anna…wow what a haul! Those butterscotch chips look way cool – I’d never heard of them before until a Canadian friend told me about them…why hasn’t New Zealand caught onto this particular foodie item?! Have fun with everything!

  5. Anne, I like your goodie stash. Here’s another trashy recipe for your collection. Believe it or not it good! xxx Tangy Apricot Chicken5 boneless, skinless chicken breasts1 envelope Lipton dry onion soup mix1 (12 oz.) jar apricot preserves1 (8 oz.) bottle Kraft Thousand Island dressingWild or regular rice, enough to serve 4 to 5 peoplePreheat oven to 350 degrees. Place chicken pieces in bottom of 9 x 13-inch pan. Combine soup mix, preserves and dressing in a bowl. Mix well. Pour over chicken and cover pan with aluminum foil. Bake 1 hour.Prepare rice according to package directions. Place rice in center of a large platter. Place chicken pieces around edge of rice. Pour sauce into a gravy boat or serving bowl to be poured over chicken and rice as desired. Sounds awful – tastes great!
