2. Broccoli and stilton soup –
OK, so technically mine was broccoli and fetta soup…but it still worked well and tasted good. Next time I’ll make the effort to go out and buy stilton, I’m sure it would have been in a different league altogether!
3. Sesame peanut noodles – Now I remember a long, long time ago, when ‘Nigella Express’ was but a twinkle in her Mother’s eye, commenting on a thread in the Nigella forum (yes, it was THAT long ago!) How amazing the sauce for the ‘bang bang turkey’ recipe in FEAST, would go amazingly well on noodles….and lo and behold if the recipe didn’t magically appear in ‘Express’!
6. Coq au riesling –
I was inspired to try this by Megan’s comments on a forum I belong to. Megan also suggested adding the carrots, which was a good addition I feel, not only for the welcome colour it added, but for another vegetable hit.
I served this with rice, but then I prefer rice over noodles EVERY time. No question!
So, what do all these recipes have in common?
