  1. How lovely you used Pi’s rosemary Anna, very poignant. This cake looks beautiful and I have to say I’m very tempted to try it your way, I have to admit I’m always a little put off by cake recipes which have a whole packet of butter in the recipe! (Must be the frugal scots woman in me lol) 😉

  2. Anna, I agree with Linda. I think Pi would have been especially impressed with both your shortcut and your healthier version of this cake. A true cake of remembrance for Pistachio.

  3. KJ – Thanks for saying that, it means a lot to me. I guess we all go through periods of questioning our thoughts and reasons for blogging…I do go away for short times, but always come back full of enthusiasm for one thing or another.Thank you to everyone else for your comments, it means a lot to me to hear you say that Pi would have appreciated this cake, maybe even the alterations! I was always in awe of her ability to be healthy and put leftover cakes in the freezer! Mine never get that far 🙂
