  4. Bircher muesli is so delicious, I don't understand why I haven't made it in recent years. With apples in plentiful supply, now seems like a good time to reacquaint myself with it. When I lived in Switzerland, we'd go out to eat this for breakfast sometimes and it was always served with thick cream – not quite so healthy but so good 😉
