I guess the answer to that question is love. In it’s many forms.
Love for my family.
Love for our friends.
Love for life in general.
I want my family to have this blog to refer to, long after I have gone. And who’s to say it’s not going to help future generations remember, re-live, or maybe even taste for the first time, what I used to make, with love, for my family.
That is my wish.
Sometimes, mainly after reading other’s blogs, which are glossier, brighter, more beautiful than mine, I get a kind of ‘why should I carry on’ feeling…..
What difference is my blog making to anyone?
But then I get told, from a family friend, how, after losing a much loved family member, that my post on ‘Making Kolifa step-by-step’ was found online by her, without knowing that I was the author even.
And that it helped her.
We connected without me even knowing.
And THAT dear friends is what keeps me blogging.
